"Any boy or girl under the age of twenty-two is eligible for membership in the National Society of the Children of the American Revolution who is lineally descended from a man or woman who, with unfailing loyalty, rendered material aid to the cause of American Independence as a soldier, sailor, civil officer, or recognized patriot in one of the several Colonies or States, or of the United States, provided that the applicant is personally acceptable to the Society." Many of our Senior Leaders are avid genealogists, so please ask any questions! 

FEES: $35 for 1st applicant [$15.00 application fee + $20.00 yearly membership fee]; $30.00 for each additional applicant with same parents, and same patriot submitted at the same time [$10.00 application fee + $20.00 yearly membership fee].

Supplemental Applications based on a different patriot can be submitted using the N.S.C.A.R. Application for membership after a C.A.R. National Number has been issued. Supplemental Fee: $25 per supplemental

Proving a New Patriot

 Ancestors not yet been approved by C.A.R., DAR, or SAR require further documentation than a proven Ancestor.
